My Muslim Family ("we", "our", or "the app") is committed to protecting your family's privacy. This policy describes how we collect, use, and safeguard information when you use our app and services.

Information We Collect

• Account information: Email address, name, and password (encrypted) when you register as a parent.
• Kid profiles: Names and optional details for children under your account, used only for prayer tracking and family features.
• Location: Coarse location (city-level) for prayer times and Qibla direction. We do not store precise GPS coordinates.
• Device token: Used solely to deliver push notifications (azan, iqama, prayer reminders, points updates) to your device.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to provide app features: prayer time calculation, task and prayer tracking, leaderboards, certificates, wallet and points, push notifications, and email notifications. We do not sell or share your data with third parties for advertising.

Push Notifications

Push notifications are sent via Apple Push Notification service (APNs). You can control which notifications you receive in Profile → Push Notifications. We store your device token only to deliver notifications; tokens are not used for tracking.

Data Security

We use industry-standard practices to protect your data: encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure authentication, and secure storage. Passwords are hashed; we never store plain-text passwords.

Children's Privacy

My Muslim Family is designed for family use. Parents create and manage kid accounts. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 outside of the data parents provide for their own children within the app.

Your Rights

You can update your profile, notification preferences, and kid settings at any time. You may permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time:

• In the app: Profile → Delete Account (confirm and follow the prompts).
• On the web: Log in and go to https://www.mymuslimfamily.net/delete-account

When you delete your account:

• Your account, linked kids, prayer records, tasks, certificates, wallet, and settings are permanently removed.
• This action cannot be undone.
